A couple of years ago I visited a lighthouse in Florida and was fascinated by the play of light on the original lamp that was on display. The glass was thick and cut to best intensify the light. As I walked around it, each angle provided a rainbow of colors and I couldn't stop taking pictures. I was a teenager in the 60's and loved the psychedelic colors. I used Coral Photo-Paint to create a different psychedelic effect on each of the images. Here is one of the original images and my psychedelic interpretation. I think this would make a great quilt.

I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping I get selected.

Great photos, both of them! Good luck on getting in.
I entered this contest... the submissions deadline was yesterday and the woman curating the show told me she expected it to take her at least a week to make a decision. Good luck to us both!! :D

Your photos are beautiful! They would make wonderful quilts! Have the winners been notified? I hope you are one of them. I would love to see this exhibit.
Yes. I entered and found out Oct. 2 one of my photos was selected. What a thrill. Luckily I will get to see it in Houston. My photo is the back of a float I saw at the Rose Parade with vibrantly colored flowers, birds and figures.
