Just a Peek...

I have been very lax in my postings lately. Part of this is due to my habit of over committing myself and then waiting to the last minute to finish the things I've committed to. Last Friday I sent 4 quilts off the the Indiana Heritage Quilt Show and of course I was putting sleeves and labels on those. Then I decided that I had to create an entry for the 2010 Quilting Arts Calendar contests. I did finish this yesterday but came down with some sort of flu last night so that put a damper on my task for today which was to make a 50's skirt for my 6 yr old granddaughter for her sock hop day this Friday.......guess what I will be doing tomorrow.

Can't show the whole thing yet but here is a peek at my QA entry called 'B' Is For Beets.

Judy, it's beautiful, and the detail is amazing. I can't wait to see the whole piece. Good luck with the entry.

Hi Judy,

This is lovely! It looks like it is on a Lutrador surface or non-cotton. But it has a very nice feel to it (at least the portion I can see)!
