I think of a journal quilt as a quilt that is small in size and gives you the opportunity to try a new process or technique without investing too much time. It also could represent what is happening in your life at the time. A lot of art quilters do journal quilts on a regular basis such as once a month. <br /><br />My art quilt group will be having a show in the fall and the theme is exploring dimension.
